COVID-19 has brought in a difficult situation for all of us and everyone can feel the impact all around. As the virus continues to spread across the globe, it is not only impacting your health, but also your pockets. In a very short span of time, COVID-19 has brought in a change in how businesses approach and fulfill their commitments towards their customers.
The World Health Organization (WHO) has now declared the Coronavirus as a public health emergency of international concern. With every passing day, more and more people are coming under the radar of this epidemic, creating a significant concern for workplaces globally. With no travel, frozen budgets, and daily changes in global health reports, a technology-driven approach to businesses is the new mantra for success. In such situations, businesses with contingency plans in place are less likely to experience disruptions.
Business Continuity Plan at PrivoCorp
Business Continuity Plan (BCP) is a process to ensure business operations can continue even despite disruptions, like this coronavirus pandemic. At PrivoCorp, we are monitoring this outbreak very closely and have taken all necessary measures to support our customers, business partners and employees through our business continuity plan. Looking at the outbreak severity, we proactively activated our BCP and undertook the following measures for all our employees:
- Enabled infrastructure at home premises – We ensured all the necessary infrastructure in terms of desktops or laptops were available at home premises of employees, so that they can continue to work remotely
- Remote connectivity – All technical requirements related to software, hardware, and connectivity have been provided
- Security compliances have been set in place to avoid any breach
- Incentive policy – As all employees are working remotely, we announced an incentive policy to motivate them to perform better. This will serve as an additional perk for employees to do more in the available time, resulting in increased productivity and efficiency
We are in constant touch with our customers and business partners to make them aware of our business continuity and are providing them timely responses and resolutions. All our clients have shown trust and confidence with our plan, and we thank them for their continued trust and support.
In our office premises, we used to work in shifts. But now, since everyone is working remotely from their homes, we have been able to expand our capacity by almost 50%, as all our teams are available concurrently to process client requirements. Also, since travel time has now reduced to zero for all employees, they are able to put in more work hours and complete all the work allocated to them. The incentive policy is also helping make sure that we are able to achieve higher productivity.
We are doing everything to protect our employees and prevent any disruption to our operations or client service. Reach us if you have any questions; we’re prepared and well-positioned to assist you.
